Twitter

By the way, I have no clue, how to make the banner of my twitter on the side of this blog, so I'm just posting the link here. :P

Scarlett. Once again.

So, she has tried to sing something a couple of years ago, I don't even remember what was it, but everybody did agree it wasn't a great succsess. Now she's doing it again, but this time Scarlett's having a backup - singer Pete Yorn.
The sound of their album "Breakup" is quite refreshing, associating to some good old romantic movies and easy, moody acoustic atmosphere, though in longer time some beats get a bit annoying.
Of course, I assume Pete is having bigger part of creating, singing and playing in the duo, but Scarlett's giving this nice confusement and the tone of her voice to the songs and performances, so lets say it's even. More to that, this experience will make her later work in music much more personal.
Well, and Pete, admitts he that or not, has got a fortune for his carreer getting Scarlett to sing together. Win win.
By the way, I'm really glad to see how nervous the actress is while performing - it just shows that she cares. Click the image for their live version of the song "Relator" (album "Breakup").

Jazzu...

Feeling ashamed for two things: one is that I didn't post nor browsed anything new of the music world for so long and other - that I didn't listen to this girl enouh... Jazzu
Just click the pictures for an amazing voice and tunes - these are the moments when I am actually so proud of Lithuanian music. On the other hand, just couple of days ago found out that the singer is feeling lack of space and is planing to move on with her career in London. Good or bad? Bad for Lithuanian audience, which will loose the opportunity to attend her concerts, good for her and her music, which now has a chance to grow.
In the end, just give away to the music - for me it brings some kind of nostalgic feelings and a huge need to go out to Lithuanian night life for like a week. :)

Enjoy.

P.S. Wish me luck :P
